Want a reliable source for quality supplements?

While prioritizing nutrients from whole food sources is crucial, it's increasingly challenging in today's environment. Soil depletion and contamination, coupled with heightened nutrient demands due to daily stress, mean our bodies often require more for optimal wellness. Hence, the demand for reliable supplements arises to bridge this gap.

When purchasing supplements from platforms like Amazon, uncertainty looms over their contents. Shockingly, studies suggest that only about 44% of these products are accurately labeled, often failing to deliver what consumers expect. Many drugstore brands offer low-quality supplements, reinforcing the belief that "supplements are just expensive urine."

Researchers from the University of Mississippi and the Uniformed Services University tested 30 immune-supporting supplements bought on Amazon and found that only 13 actually contained what was claimed on the product’s label.

Oliveda—My Favorite Internal Supplements

What is Oliveda?

Oliveda (Olive Tree People / OTP) is a skincare company that understands beautiful skin comes from within. Named after the power of olives, Oliveda uses the Arbequina Olive to harness antioxidant effects for the body and skin, promoting your glow not only from the outside, but also from within. They have both internal and topical product lines. They use the power of hydroxytyrosol (olive leaf elixir) in all products in PLACE of water, making their products incredibly powerful. In fact, the products are so powerful, it is recommended to introduce all of them slowly and allow your body and skin to become accustomed to the detoxifying affects hydroxytyrosol offers. If you’d like to see which products are recommended for your unique skin type, take the Olive Brain Quiz. You can even earn a free gift using that link and purchasing 2+ products recommended. I also recommend reaching out to an Oliveda representative to make sure those products align with your goals. Waterless Means Your Product Lasts Longer

Because their products are waterless, not only are they much more concentrated with ingredients that will improve your skin & body, but as a concentrate, you're able to make your product last much longer because you will use far less than what's typical. For instance, with serums, you'll use 1 drop every other day and work your way up to 1-2 drops once or twice per day.

Water Is Alkaline, But Your Skin Is Acidic

Because water has a pH of 7.0, it can throw off the pH of your skin, which should have a pH of about 4.5-5.0. Many people don't think about the pH of their skin, but they should! The pH of your skin is actually extremely important for maintaining proper balance. It controls what type of microorganisms can flourish (many people who deal with acne have a more alkaline pH, which allows acne-causing bacteria to grow). The microorganisms of the skin, in turn regulate the moisture levels, meaning dry or prematurely aging skin likely has a microorganism and thus, a pH imbalance. Needless to say, if all your products contain water as the first ingredient and you're washing your face with water, chances are, you're throwing your pH out of balance, even if it's only momentarily, when you do this day-in and day-out, it adds up!

You Don't Need to Pay for Water

Unlike most brands of skincare, Oliveda doesn't believe you should be paying for water in their products.

Water in Products May be Dirty

When water is used in product lines, it's uncertain whether that water is filtered properly. It may contain chemicals like chlorine to sanitize it.

My Favorite Parts About Oliveda

I had my eye on Oliveda for quite some time before I dove into their products.

You're probably familiar with my work as a Holistic Health Coach. I work with people through gut, hormone and detox issues. Because of this, I am naturally drawn to Oliveda's internal product line.

My favorite product is the I01 ORAC & Camu Camu. It’s an extremely high dose of whole food vitamin C from Camu Camu (+hydroxytyrosol) which is absolutely imperative for ATP (energy) production as well as for the adrenals and detoxification. This product is especially helpful for cystic acne and many other conditions. You won’t find the detoxification properties of this product in any other product, which is why it’s so special. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity, which measures the ability of antioxidant power. Blueberries and elderberries, both known for their antioxidant properties have an ORAC score of 8,000 and 14,000 respectively. Camu Camu has an ORAC score of 52,000 and hydroxytyrosol has an ORAC score of 45,000.

I love that Oliveda is waterless for the reasons listed above.

I also love that Oliveda gives you the option to shop for discounted products as a member as well as the option to earn money by recommending their products. If you know other people who are interested in discounted products or selling products, you can earn additional income.

FAQs

Why does the label list water?

In the EU, where Oliveda is made, labels are required to list all products used to make a product. This does not mean the product contains water, it means that water was used in the process: i.e in our products, water is released as the olive leaves are pressed, as a byproduct, thus water must be listed. There is more information on the website under each product.

Is Oliveda A Pyramid Scheme?

Oliveda is a multi-level marketing (MLM) company. Many people do not understand the difference between this and a ‘pyramid scheme’ but they are in no way, shape or form the same. An MLM is the same structure as most corporate America jobs. People who have invested their time and energy to build the company and sell products typically earn more than those who were just hired. Oliveda believes that the best marketing is word-of-mouth. The products stand for themselves, so by inviting fans and product users to sell products and to “hire” people to their team to also sell products, they are giving back by allowing those people who choose to do so an option to earn money. There is absolutely no obligation to sell products or to build a team to sell products. Many people join the Oliveda membership to simply earn a deep discount on products— it’s like a Costco membership. You pay a yearly fee ($50 USD) and earn 25% off all products. I personally joined in order to get the discount because it just made senses.

What is their return policy?

As a customer, you have 365 days to try any product (except those you earned for free— Oliveda gives out products for joining + purchasing 2+ products recommended by Olive Brain). You can even return the empty containers! That’s how much they guarantee results.
