This is where HTMA shines. when evaluating a client, I take the time to get to fully know and understand their entire health picture, not just their diet and lifestyle, but their past and their current struggles— so that together we can plan for less-stressed, healthier and better future.
Using the Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), an inexpensive and non-invasive testing option, I can see true accuracy of not only your mineral status, but its BALANCE, heavy metal toxicity, digestive ability, how well your metabolism is running, your thyroid and adrenal health and much more.
We uncover hidden toxicities that are part of our world today and develop a plan to get you back on track— whether you’re dealing with fatigue, low energy and weight gain, mood issues, like anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, or something else, typically we can trace it back to an imbalance shown on this test.
What does HTMA do?
HTMA helps us understand metabolic and glandular patterns and dysfunction that underlie all health conditions, which is why it’s a great place to begin if you don’t know where to start.
Who is it for?
HTMA is for everyone. I particularly recommend it for anyone with energy issues, fertility issues or multiple pregnancies (especially when they are close to one another, as pregnancy is demanding on the body / spends a significant amount of nutrients or anyone who has dealt with or is significantly stressed. The only people I don’t recommend immediately performing this test yet is someone dealing with digestive issues (gas, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, loose stools). In that case you will want to do a PCR stool analysis first, then an HTMA.

Doctors can, and often do miss the mark on internal inflammation and nutritional deficiencies. This is because first, they can’t take the time to get to know your nutritional intake or health history, nor are they able to guide you through better choices, and second, because they typically test your blood— for things like hormones and mineral levels, which typically give an inaccurate reading. Blood is a transportation material— it moves various compounds all over the body. What it doesn’t do, is give a accurate picture of our hormone or mineral status. Read on to find out why this is.
Why HTMA over blood serum?
I an effort to maintain homeostasis (and be ready for an emergency) the body will keep certain minerals like calcium and potassium in the blood at a stable level— but at the expense of tissues like bone where it’s also required. With other minerals, blood is a fluctuating transport material and can’t exhibit the nutrients that have made their way into the tissues, like your liver, heart and brain. When blood tests show deficiencies in minerals, it’s often an indication of a severe deficiency or late stage of disease and dysfunction, where as HTMA gives a much earlier representation and can be used as both a preventative tool and diagnoses tool. Blood tests can be useful for many markers, however, ranges for what is considered ‘normal’ in allopathic or conventional medicine is a range just above or below the sickest of the sickest people, rather than a range of what is optimal, so if you do get blood tests done, be sure to use optimal ranges to evaluate your health.
Do you feel like you’re burning the candle at both ends?
Like you don’t have energy or a zest for life? Maybe you just feel sort of ‘bleh’?
Do you often feel bloated, deal with hormonal issues, like infertility, acne or hair loss? Has your sleep become troublesome at night but you need naps during the day? Maybe there’s no ‘blaring’ sign, and your doctor says everything looks ‘normal’… but YOU know something’s just not right.
